After buyers complete the application and screening process, Annette partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“The price includes your puppy with first set of shots, regular deworming every 2 weeks, puppy’s health record, starter kit with a blanket scented with litter mates, and a bag of puppy food. Coat length is determined at 2-3 weeks of age. We do not hold puppies without a deposit prior to determining coat length. Long haired dachshunds typically do not require professional grooming or shed.”

Program update on 17 Mar •…We will be retiring Sassafras, our lovely black and tan female this summer. She and our dapple boy Rudy have produced several litters of gorgeous, healthy puppies that have brought so much joy to many families. See more info and pictures on our program page. She will be spayed in June and ready to go after she recovers. She turns 5 in July. Please message me if you are interested or know someone who needs a sweet companion dog. She has been very healthy and typically weighs around 16 lbs. She is not registered.

About Ranger
RANGER is a super fun, sweet little guy. He has a great personality, loves people, and listens well. He came to us at about 12 weeks of age with good manners and mostly housebroken. His sire was a cream and his dam was a little red pie with lots of ticking. He is a chocolate cream piebald. Looking forward to seeing what he produces!

About Margalo
Margalot is a lovely red dapple piebald with fascinating eyes. They are brown but the lower rims of both irises are a brilliant pale blue. Her longhair coat is soft as a marshmallow. She is an independent little thing and impresses us as having some strong survival instincts. Her dam was a long haired red piebald and her sire a long haired black and cream with eyes similar to hers.

About Rudy
Rudy is a delightful and loyal pal. He is very energetic and athletic. He is a proven sire. Biggest vice is stealing people’s hearts. He is a black and tan dapple boy with stunning blue eyes and a “split face” pattern. His litters are typically 50% dapple and include at least 1 or 2 longhair puppies and one or two split face pups. (His sire was a longhair.) We get a lot of requests to stud him out to other ladies in the area.

About Sassafras
We started our breeding program with Sassafras, a very sassy little girl from Wyoming. She and Rudy have produced some gorgeous puppies, and she is a very good mother. She has not had any pregnancy or labor complications and her pups have been healthy and grown nicely. She is not registered.
