I'm Rachel S., the breeder behind Sauder Pugs located in Hanna City, IL. We just have the two pugs so we are the farthest thing from a puppy mill! Our goal is to produce healthy and happy family pugs! We plan on having only 1-2 litters per year total to insure our puppies get the maximum care and attention.
Q. & A. with Rachel
Why did you start breeding?
Our first pug Lily had just four litters before we had her fixed and we kept one (Lucy) who is the mother of our current litter. This is Lucy's first litter.
What makes your program special?
We only have 1 pug we are currently breeding and she is the daughter of our only other pug. We do not believe in over breeding. Our 2 pugs are our babies.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
