I'm Roberto F., the breeder behind Sausage Strolls located in Oakwood, GA. All of our puppies are healthy and have a very playful side! All of our puppies are bred, raised, and loved indoors to produce happy, healthy pets for those seeking the best family companion! We are dog lovers through and through!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I decided to venture into breeding dachshunds out of a deep love for the breed and a desire to share their unique charm with others. Inspired by the playful and loving nature of dachshunds, I recognized the joy they bring to families and individuals alike. With a commitment to responsible breeding practices.

  • What makes your program special?

    My breeding program is special because it focuses on the unique traits and needs of dachshunds, ensuring that each puppy embodies the breed's distinctive charm and personality. I prioritize responsible breeding practices that promote health, temperament, and socialization, giving each dog the best start in life.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, red, chocolate and tan, blue and tan, black and tan, and black and cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Roberto

Roberto has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $300 - $1,100 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"Puppies will have their first round of shots and a wellness check at the vet before they head home and a baggy of puppy food. All puppies are the same price unless stated other wise, deposit will secure your puppy from any one else wanting to buy them after the deposit the remaining money will be due at the day of pick up."

  • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
