I'm Annie S., the breeder behind Savages Low riders located in Plymouth, IA. Our dogs are such an integral part of our lives, and we could not imagine being without them. They are raised as one in our home, and join us on our chores, and adventures on the farm. It is such an amazing experience to be able to provide other families with dogs from us.

Why did you start breeding?
I have had corgis for years, and along the way discovered my ambition to better the breed. I knew i wanted to expand first with my corgis. I took my time to research, and found from the two breeds, I have had both Pembroke and Cardigan, but much prefer the latter. I took my time, found a wonderful mating pair, and started my way from the ground up. My program is still new, but slowly growing.What makes your program special?
We raise each puppy like it is our own. We are hands on from the very minute they are born, until the minute they go home. All pups are well started in socialization, along with exposure to different sights, scents, sounds, car rides, potty and kennel training. Each pup is sent home with a contract, their vet records, and their own individual puppy care package. We put our love into each puppy.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Cardigan Welsh Corgi puppies include brindle merle and white, red and white, black and white, red merle and white, brindle and white, and blue merle and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Annie
Annie has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Annie partners with them to find the best puppy match.
Price
"Our price includes daily care, health testing done by parentage, 2 - 3 sets of vaccinations and deworming. Early socialization and training starting from day 1, and all puppy package items. Our deposit and waitlist fee are non-refundable. Prices vary by breed and pet/breeder ( very selective) home. Our waitlist fee is $150 for expecting litters, and is due upon application acceptance."

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Litter update on 27 Mar •…Sioux and Brunos "Court of Legends" litter Is doing absolutely phenomenal! They have turned into such little chunks. Sioux is an amazing mama. We have kept back at least one for our program. We are undecided at the moment if we plan to keep back another female or not. One male - Rhysand - is reserved, but Azriel is still available.

Litter update on 27 Mar •…Luna and Frankies "Crowned by Eire " Litter turned 7 weeks old yesterday! We have one set of ears up, others are in airplane mode! They are rambunctious, opinionated, snuggly and sweet, and oh so fluffy! 4 leave the nest to their new homes next week. The other 2 Will remain until 10 weeks of age before flying the coop. We are so very happy with how they look and have turned out. If you are wanting a luna x frankie baby still, get on our wailist, as we have a planned breeding later this summer/early fall when Luna goes into heat again.

Litter update on 24 Mar •…Luna and frankies litter will be 7 weeks this Thursday! Hard to believe how fast time has flown! 4 pups leave next week, the other 2 will remain with us until they're 10 weeks.

Litter update on 24 Mar •…Sioux and bruno welcome 6 absolute beautiful akc cardigan welsh corgis on march 22nd. She did absolute amazing. We couldn't be more proud or her, or happy with how these little pups turned out.

Litter update on 07 Mar •…Sioux and Bruno have settled in quite well. So well, they have decided our two kids - Buck (4) and Ellie (10) are they're favorite people! We are just a few short weeks away from introducing Sioux amd brunos litter into the world and we could not be more excited!

Program update on 05 Mar •…Luna and Frankies litter is officially 4 weeks old! I don't know where the time went, but boy has it flown! They are now: 🐾 Eating puppy food like crazy (even going back in for seconds... and thirds). 🐾 Walking, and Toddling around. 🐾 Starting to play and rough house. 🐾 Recognizing people and voices. 🐾 Mastered potty training in the litter pan, with the occasional pee accident. 🐾 Slowly getting more adventurous and exploring more areas 🐾 Weaning little by little off Luna. We have families coming to meet them and we cannot wait for them to see their little fluffy 4 legged future companions.

Program update on 12 Feb •…Luna and Frankies litter is officially 1 week old tomorrow! So of course we had to do a valentines theme, in leu with the holiday this weekend. They are growing like weeds and turning into thick little loafs. We cannot be more impressed with how they are turning out! As of this moment, all of the pups are spoken for and not available. I will keep everyone updated if that were to change at all.

Litter update on 07 Feb •…Luna welcomed 6 very large loafs into the world on February 5th! She went into labor on the 4th in the afternoon and man, was it a very long night for her. All puppies and mom are thriving and doing well! We could not be more proud of her!

Program update on 13 Jan •…Annyx is officially in heat! She will be paired with a very nice show stud. We expect her litter to be due around end of march if all goes well with their pairing. Stay tuned for updates!

Litter update on 07 Jan •…We are beyond excited to share that Luna was confirmed pregnant at the vets office today! We will be expecting this litter around February 4th - February 8th, but that is not a set date. We only have a couple spots left on our waitlist for this litter. Serious inquiries and applicants can send us a message or an application to be considered for a puppy. Stay tuned for more information as time goes on.

Savage Sidhe of Eire - Aka Luna, is a CKC Cardigan Welsh Corgi. She is by far one of the best females I've yet to own. Her herding instincts are astounding, and her coloring is beautiful. She has a wonderful temperament in regards to everyone. There isn't a baby or adult she hasn't liked! She is clear of all diseases related to corgis. Not only is she first to greet anyone, she is the first to plop on the couch or jump in the truck with you. Luna has amazing motherly instincts and has been an exceptional asset to our family and program.

Savage Rioghan of Éire - Aka Frankie, is a CKC Black Brindle Cardigan Welsh Corgi. He is a wonderful stud with great brains, and temperament along with wonderful natural herding skills. He is an integral part to our farm and our family. He is happy whether he is helping me with farm chores or cuddling on the couch.

Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
