Meet the breeder

I'm Ericka W., the breeder behind Savoy Collies located in Eads, TN. With over 20+ years of training, showing and breeding collies, we strive to produce excellent companions and family members. All parents are thoroughly genetically screened and we take great care to match each individual puppy with the right family. Pups are raised in our home with kids, cats, etc.

Q. & A. with Ericka

  • Why did you start breeding?

My first collie, born in 1999, was purchased as a pet but became a group-wining, conformation champion with obedience, herding and agility titles. Since then, we have valued BOTH a biddable, working temperament and a classically beautiful collie. We strive to bring those virtues to every breeding.
  • What makes your program special?

Quality over quantity! We don’t breed often - only when we are looking for our next superstar and companion. That means each pup in the litter is raised to do it all. We select only thoroughly genetically tested dogs for breeding. We carefully nurture all pups and use our years of training experience to match each individual puppy with the right family. We are one of only three collie breeders who have been awarded a Bronze Breeder of Merit award from AKC.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
