I'm James & Morgan C., the breeder behind Root 2 Crown Doxies located in Byron, GA. Our french bulldogs and dachshunds are bred for health, temperament, and conformation. We aspire to provide quality standard French bulldogs and dachshunds that will make a great addition to a loving home. All of our pups are raised in our home and well socialized with many different scenarios, to include being raised around children.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    James is a 100% disabled veteran and needed a dog to help heal and manage. We spent a huge amount of time researching Olde English Bulldogges and decided it was the breed we wanted. We had no intention to breed until we realized how much it helped, we felt as though we could help others in the same way. We fell in love with frenchies and got our first one in 2019. Now we only breed Frenchies.

  • What makes your program special?

    We spend a lot of time planning out our breedings and ensuring our dogs, and the dogs we use in our breedings meet our standards and requirements for breeding. We heavily evaluate conformation and temperament to ensure that we breed within standards. We focus on ensuring are pups are well-socialized, healthy, and ready to be an integral part of their forever family.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Dachshund puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Dachshund puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our French Bulldog puppies include brindle, cream, fawn, and fawn and white. Dachshund puppies include cream, chocolate and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,300 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"Our puppy price varies from litter to litter and is adjusted based on the Sire/Dam of the litter, and whether the pup is sold with limited or full AKC registration. A deposit holds a pick or puppy until that puppy is ready to come home. Deposits are non-refundable and may be transferred to a future litter, however pick or availability is not guaranteed."

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     James and Morgan are absolute angels! When I reached out about our new frenchie Lotus, Morgan responded right away and we FaceTimed and chatted about everything Frenchie. James also joined the call and they both answered all my questions and let me know all the details about this breed. I can’t speak enough about how amazing they were through this process and afterwards. Lotus is litter box trained which was a huge plus as we finish all her vaccinations. So much love was given to our sweet girl and it really shows in her personality. Lotus fits right in with my older Chiweenie Ace, and our sphynx cat Tixe. I will absolutely use them again and can vouch that they were professional, caring, knowledgeable, and now have become friends for life!
