I'm Debbie G., the breeder behind Scattered Oaks Ranch located in Brooksville, FL. I am a Hobby Breeder of genetically health tested ASCA, AKC and ASDR dogs. Our dogs are our family and enjoy farm living every day.

Why did you start breeding?
We bought 2 Aussies for our children, Brandy and Atticus almost 12 years ago. When our Standard was about 5 my husband wanted one of his own to take out with him when he worked his cattle so we bred her with a friend's red tri that was the dog everyone loved! We kept our red Merle Sally out of that litter and my family enjoyed having the puppies so much, we bred 2 years later and so it began.What makes your program special?
Our dogs aren’t just breeding stock, they are our lifetime family members. We only have one or two litters a year so I can spend time with each puppy. I use puppy culture protocol to socialize my pups and Early Neurological Stimulation amongst other things.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Debbie
Debbie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $150 non-refundable deposit and between $950 - $1,350 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“You do not need a deposit for our wait list but once the puppies are born we accept deposits and invite the families to come for puppy picks at about 5-6 weeks old in order the deposits were received. Puppy prices are based on Pet/Performance price. Breeding rights are not included.”

Debbie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Sadie Mae
Scattered Oaks Sadie Mae Just Steal Your Heart TKN...What can I say about this girl? She was a hidden blessing from the beginning. For quite a few years now I’ve been interested in getting a pup from the Mistretta/Gearhart lines from out west but it seemed it would never happen. Fast forward to last year. Someone messaged me looking for a future stud for her girl. She said she was a smart girl and came from good herding/agility lines. That got the wheels turning in my head. We talked more and I gathered all her info and gave her info on my boys to consider and in the meanwhile I took a look at her pedigree. I was pleasantly surprised to find she had several generations of Mistretta and a tad of Gearhart a couple of generations back. She may not be first generation but the genes are still there😁 We bred Anchor to her and Sadie was our choice as pick of the litter and we’ve had no regrets. Sadie is a very sweet girl. She is spunky, playful, somewhat independent and a very quick learner. She completed her tricks for her first AKC TKN trick title before she was even eligible to apply for it at 4 months old. She loves to run with the other dogs and kids. She is obsessed with water and playing fetch. But all that aside we just really enjoy having her hang out with us here and watching her grow and mature. She’s such a sweet girl and I’m so glad she’s ours♥️

About Tucker
Tucker resides with and is lived by friends of ours. He has a teenage momma for a second momma but is fought over often by each of the family members. He pals around with his teenager and friends, goes to work with grand mom and goes boating Or around the neighborhood on a cart with dad. He’s everyone’s boy. He visits the rehab his grand-mom manages often to lend support to the patients. He is a fast learner with medium drive but will shut off and snuggle at any given moment.

Oliver is my heart dog. He adores me and I adore him! Velcro dog to a t! Ge is more reserved around strangers but once you earn his trust he is such a love. He is so fun to watch. Very agile and energetic. He would be excellent at watching over a flock of sheep. We call him the guardian because he follows my toddler grandchildren around from a distance step by step as they play in the yard...always watching over them. I recorded him one day he had been following my grandson up and down a dirt mound for about an hour one day just totally amazed me! He has received his Intermediate Trick Title and is now working toward his advanced. He would also excel in agility, herding, dock diving and rally.

About Stella
What can I say about Stella? Her mother is my husbands other love. Her father is my other love. So she gets twice the love :-) She is just such an Intelligent, beautiful, and amazing girl. She is a Velcro dog and loves to be loved on. She will do anything you ask and if she doesn’t understand she will figure it out just a quick as she can. She has worked her way through the advanced level of her trick title and would’ve completed it long ago if I had the time. She would also excel in herding, agility, dock diving, obedience and rally.

About Sophie
From the day we started searching for her we knew there was something special about Sophie. My husband searched several states before we found the perfect girl for his anniversary gift for me. She is such a big Teddy bear. She has never met a stranger and will love anyone that will allow her to love them. She earned her CGC title when she was about six months old. She is very playful And carefree. She is very humble when teaching her tricks and working with her. Her lines are conformation lines so she has a nice thick build. We love our girl Sophie💗

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
