I'm Amie S., the breeder behind Scherners Frenchie Frenz located in Terrebonne, OR. At Scherner's Frenchie Frenz, we believe in breeding healthy, happy puppies that make great pets. We carefully select our breeding dogs and perform health checks to ensure the best possible outcome for our litters. Our puppies are socialized and raised with love to prepare them for their new homes.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    With years of experience in breeding other breeds, we got our first Frenchie and she is so special we knew we had to share her babies with others. The companionship is like no other breed.

  • What makes your program special?

    We specialize in raising AKC French Bulldogs. Our passion is to preserve the integrity of the breed. We focus on health, structure and the temperament of our dogs. All of our dams are DNA health tested and clear and so are the chosen Sires. Our puppies are hand raised and very well socialized. They are loved, spoiled and adored by all members of our family and that provides an amazing foundation.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include brindle, cream, fawn, fawn and white, blue fawn, blue, black and white, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Amie

Amie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Amie partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $1,000 non-refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $7,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“All babies are AKC registered, come with a 1 year health guarantee, a wellness exam, up-to-date vaccinations and the best socialized, well rounded puppy. Early reserve deposits are $500, the remaining $500 due upon puppy selection around 4 weeks of age. Or $1000 deposit to reserve a specific puppy. All deposits are non refundable and include AKC registration.”

Contract & health guarantee

Amie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Vet Wellness Exam

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
