I'm Adriane H., the breeder behind Schnickelfritz Hounds located in Crowley, TX. We only have a couple of litters a year, aiming to raise dogs who thrive both at home and participating in family activities. When you get a Schnickelfritz Hounds puppy, you’re joining our extended family. We want to get to know our puppy families well, and promise to be a lifelong resource for you and your puppy.
Q. & A. with Adriane
Why did you start breeding?
Benjamin and I were married in 2007, and adopted our first dachshund, Anke, in 2010. Now, we have a herd of fur babies, and we wouldn’t have it any other way! Our dogs are our children – part of our family, raised in our home, and close to our hearts.
What makes your program special?
During the weeks that your puppy is in our care, we have a huge responsibility.
We consider this role to be our calling, and cherish these first few weeks, during which we can have the maximum impact on the future lives and behavior of these creatures.
