Scotland Yard Kennels will provide you with a top-quality AKC companion.The only registry that requires inspections of all their breeders. We are dedicated towards achieving excellence,and breeding healthy family pets! Our breeding program starts with health tested, genetically sound breeders.We specialize in health, temperament,and conformation,so your new family member will follow the standard for the breed,and look like a beautiful Scottish Terrier should.Raised in the house,underfoot,with proper socialization from the beginning.We do not have any barn,or farm puppies. Our 2 year health guarantee is offered with confidence,from over four decades of breeding healthy Companions! Our breeders are the breed standard,with short legs,proper skirts,beards,and ear set,with carrot tails. We are on the mission of raising healthy,friendly,and beautiful Companions to be wonderful pets. Breeders who sell every puppy with full registration for breeding purposes,or offer an upcharge to buy this option for their puppies, are only contributing to the puppy mill problem,we do not contribute to these unethical practices. We actually strive to preserve this beautiful breed for future generations to enjoy,that look like a Scottish Terrier should. We crate train our puppies,they are in the beginning stages of being housebroken, by the time they transition to you. We do not charge extra for keeping a puppy until they are ready to transition,every pup can be different,some need a few extra weeks in their loving home environment. You should never be charged extra from a breeder for staying longer than 8 weeks,this is the responsibility of being an ethical breeder. When they are ready,I will let you know,and we will work together on a timeframe that fits your needs as well.Most should not even transition until at least 9-10 weeks. This allows for proper socialization with siblings, and their Dam. This can mean a world of difference in their trainability. Our puppies include silver brindle, wheaten, brindle, black brindle, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Puppy prices include a $100 non-refundable deposit and between $1,400 - $1,750 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Cystinuria Urine Test (PennGen), Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
von Willebrand Disease III (vWD III), Scottish Terrier Type, Craniomandibular Osteopathy (CMO)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

+4Lisa is an absolute joy to work with! She’s been nothing but helpful in answering all my questions when I wanted to know about future litters and constantly keeping me updated, before and after I was on a waitlist! Once I got my puppy secured, she continued to be consistent and helpful and is always very nice! She also sends weekly updates before your pup comes home to you. Now that my puppy is home, Lisa still helps me through things! My puppy is absolutely gorgeous and so sweet and playful too! You can really tell how much love and care Lisa puts into raising these puppies and making sure they get home safely! I would absolutely go through Lisa again and recommend her to anyone wanting a Scottie!

I DONOT HAVE THE PUPPY YET. NOT READY UNTIL APRIL 29. LISA HAS BEEN NOTHING EXCEPT PURE HELP. VERY NICE TO WORK WITH. IF SHE IS AS KIND TO HER PETS AS SHE HAS BEEN TO ME THEN THEY HAVE A VERY GOOD HOME.

We love the end-product of our Scottie pup search On Good Dog . . a gently playful, very smart, totally socialized, and crate trained 4.5lb (8 weeks old) female we named Rosie. This pup’s transition from Lisa, and we suspect her young daughter’s loving care, made the transition to our home seamless. Rosie immediately settled into our family after her 2-day courier van trip from Ohio to our home in Maryland (arranged by Lisa). Rosie loves to gently interact with visitors of all ages. She also entertains herself by playing with toys in her 4ft x 6ft pen when we are not around. And, Rosie is a frequent daytime napper after yard walks and playtime sessions. PLUS, she sleeps/plays quietly in her pen through the night! BOTTOM LINE: We believe the well cared for pups raised by Lisa will have similar, very-desirable traits and behavior. So, she is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by us.

Working with Lisa to bring our boy into our family has been a great experience. From the earliest weeks of his life she sent us weekly photos and videos and information on his personality and growth. When a snowstorm threatened our pick up, Lisa was amazing in helping us get a transport to bring him directly to us before the snow arrived. In the month since he's been home, she's been a great resource for any questions I have. My puppy is wonderful and has a great temperament, a testament to the work Lisa put in. He's healthy and curious and I couldn't be happier.
