I'm Sheena S., the breeder behind SCS Shih Tzus located in Lexington, NC. I’ve started a small, in home breeding program after falling in love with the breed. My husband and I both grew up with horses and raised cattle dogs. Several years ago, on a whim, we decided to get our children a Shih Tzu. We were traveling a lot and wanted a smaller dog that could go with us easily. Jackson made the most perfect addition to our family! His loving and devoted personality started my desire to want to share this breed with others! We took our time finding him the perfect female to start our program! It took us 3 years to find Macie Bean and the two have produced the most beautiful babies with wonderful personalities!! We have since retired our sire Jackson and his daughters are carrying on his wonderful line! We still have a small program and travel even with the puppies at times! So far we have produced some beautiful litters that have found the best families! Our puppies are raised in our home, handled daily and exposed to children and other dogs. They are a big part of our family before they join yours, and we feel this makes them well adjusted puppies from the start! We are dedicated to always providing our buyers and our puppies with a positive experience, which includes remaining committed to responsible practices when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming our puppies. Getting a puppy from Sheena

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,550 - $1,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    I couldn’t have had a better experience. Sheena was responsive, answered all my questions, was very transparent with all expectations and all around great to work with. She even shared pictures and updates during the long two weeks I had to wait until we could pick up our baby. Her updates always made my day. We picked our girl up on July 12th and we couldn’t be more in love with her. Our puppy and the others were well taken care of and in a very clean environment prior to coming home with me. You can tell that Sheena loves her dogs and does her best to ensure each puppy goes to a safe and loving home. Thankful for Good Dog and Sheena!
