I'm Scott H., the breeder behind S-D Frenchies located in Klamath Falls, OR. Our dogs live in our home and are treated as family. My wife was a vet tech and surgical assistant for 15 years and still strives to breed for quality, health and temperament with a focus on conformation, athleticism and intelligence. We are dedicated to providing our families with wonderful, healthy family pets.

Why did you start breeding?
We got into breeding because we love this breed and found that a lot of of the dogs that were out there weren’t being bread for quality , standard or healthWhat makes your program special?
We do DNA testing on our dogs and study their lineage and raise the healthiest dog we can , we raise them in our home as family members. They’re never in an outdoor kennel. We live in a small hobby farm and the dogs are exposed to cows, horses, chicken tractors and 4 wheelers. These are our pets and are treated as familyWhat are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include white and black, tricolors, blue, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Winnie is a Rojo and tan that carries 2 copies of chocolate 2 copies of coco 1 copy of fluffy and 1 copies of pied she is not liver colored. Winnie is loving and loves to snuggle and watch TV. She gets along well with dogs, cats and the chickens. He’s personality is one that I already see in her puppies

Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
