I'm Linda L., the breeder behind SD_Yorkies619 located in National City, CA. Our focus is on nurturing each puppy with love, attention, and early socialization to ensure our puppies grow into confident, affectionate companions.
Q. & A. with Linda
Why did you start breeding?
It didn’t take long for my mom to fall in love with him too. She decided get a female also AKC-registered, and that made our family even more Yorkie-crazy! A few years later, we had our first litter of beautiful, tiny puppies. I found wonderful homes for the puppies—and that’s when I realized how rewarding it felt to bring so much joy to other families through these amazing dogs. What started as one special dog has grown into a small, family-based home breeding program built on love, care, and purpose.
What makes your program special?
Our Yorkies are raised right in our home, surrounded by family and everyday life. They are loved, socialized, and nurtured from the moment they are born. For us, breeding Yorkshire Terriers isn’t just a business—it’s a family passion. Every puppy we raise is a little piece of our heart, and we feel blessed to share the same happiness and companionship our Yorkies have brought into our lives.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue and gold, black and tan, and black and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
