Q. & A. with Lisa
Why did you start breeding?
We have had a sheltie for the past 35 years. We decided to raise our first litter almost 20 yrs ago. We were drawn to the sweet, sensitive, intuitive and intelligent nature of the breed.
What makes your program special?
Our two greatest pursuits are 1. to raise puppies that are excellent representatives of what the Shetland Sheepdog breed was intended to be when it was developed. This embodies good sheltie temperament, stucture and expression.
2. Equally, if not more importantly, is the emphasis we place on health and nutrition. We are trained and certified in nutrition and nutritional therapies and seek to employ these principals in rearing pups with a view to having the very best odds of having a long, disease free life.
We offer ourselves as a resource for consulting in helping customers in this as well for the lifetime of your new sheltie.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
