Meet the breeder

I'm Lindsey M., the breeder behind Seven Hills Goldens located in Silver Lake, IN. We have dedicated our small program to enhancing and preserving the Golden Retriever breed. We strive for health and temperament along with structure. All of our goldens have been health tested using the GRCA and OFA recommendations. Genetic testing has been completed through Embark.

Q. & A. with Lindsey

  • Why did you start breeding?

Owning a Golden has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. My husband and I bought our first golden right after we were married. It wasn’t long that I discovered I wanted to become more involved with the breed. We have dedicated our little program to preserving the breed with a strong focus on health and temperament. We have also been enjoying entering dog shows and working on participating in hunt tests. We are incredibly passionate about this breed.
  • What makes your program special?

We have spent so many hours researching pedigrees and bloodlines. The pairing of our golden litters have been planned for some time. We are providing Goldens with champion bloodlines and years of health testing. Our goal will always be to preserve and improve the breed.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
