I'm Julie A., the breeder behind Shamrock’s Poodles located in Orange, CT. Our dogs are very friendly. I have four kids ranging from 6-10, that play with them every chance they get. The are registered with the AKC. My dogs have been health tested and their puppies will bring so much joy to their new families.
Q. & A. with Julie
Why did you start breeding?
When I was younger, I bought a poodle from an irresponsible breeder and my dog ended up going blind. I got my male dog a little over two years ago from a local breeder, who bought him for her breeding program. He was a little under a year at the time and the breeder said he was too big for the size puppies she wanted. He came with AKC breeding papers. We wanted two dogs, so we then bought Lily.
What makes your program special?
Our dogs are a part of our family. These puppies have been spoiled with attention from my four young kids, who play with them every second they can. I had the puppies in my bedroom with me for the first four weeks of their lives. Since then, I sent up their play area in my living room and are with us every moment of the day.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are moyen size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Julie I am absolutely loving Amber. Only difficulty is teaching her to be leash trained. She is going good with potty training almost there. Love her so much.
