I'm Sheila S., the breeder behind Shandi’s Appalachian Cockers located in Kingsport, TN. Our puppies are bred for the sole purpose of great health and loving temperaments, as well as preserving quality pedigrees. There is no reward greater than to know our puppies will have a healthy long life with their new family.
Q. & A. with Sheila
Why did you start breeding?
It wasn’t until we moved back to the U.S. when we decided we’d like to have another dog. We knew our girl had a terrific pedigree and we knew it would be impossible to find one as perfect as she was, so we decided to search for a quality stud and soon thereafter we had our first litter.
What makes your program special?
We try to plan ahead and usually have a waiting list for our pups since we don’t always have a litter just to have one. We make sure through necessary testing that we’re breeding quality healthy puppies for our buyers so they are guaranteed the best quality pet possible and that the pups will have a long healthy life with their forever families.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
