Meet the breeder

I'm Shannon R., the breeder behind Shannon Dolly’s Dachshunds located in Monitor, WA. It’s my top priority to make sure each of my puppy families welcome a happy healthy new family member into their homes! I do the proper health testing and certifications needed to ensure our lines will have longevity, I socialize each pup to sights, smells, sounds & textures for optimal temperaments.

Q. & A. with Shannon

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got my first purebred FAMILY dog when I was 13, he was an amazing dog (Cocker Spaniel), he opened my mind to the world of Dogs that lead me to signing up w/ Wenatchee kennel club at the age of 16 when I got MY first Dog (Chihuahua). I was so intrigued, I researched all I could about purebred dogs & dreamed of being a part of it all. We got into shepherds I 2013 and the rest is history.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs are a part of our family, knowing how much it is important for them to have longevity we want to ensure that other families have longevity in their dogs by making sure that we do the proper DNA testing & certification needed to continue each generation. Each of our puppies go through an ESI & ENS program from ages day 3 to day 16 as well as exposure to sights, sounds, & textures.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include cream, red, chocolate and cream, black and cream, black and tan, chocolate and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
