I'm Sharon R., the breeder behind Sharon's Yorkshire Terriers located in Greenfield, IN. ​We are dedicated preservation breeders of elite AKC Yorkshire Terriers. Raised in our home, our puppies come from the nation’s top bloodlines, ensuring premier health, structure, and loving temperaments. All pups are vet-checked, age appropriate vaccines and placed on a limited spay/neuter contract.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    ​I fell in love with Yorkshire Terriers and wanted to dedicate myself to preserving everything that makes them so special. I got into breeding to raise healthy, beautiful puppies that strictly adhere to the AKC standard. For me, it is a true labor of love focused on maintaining exceptional health, structure, and temperament to ensure future generations carry on the very best of the breed.

  • What makes your program special?

    ​What makes our program special is our focus on early socialization. We use tactile stimulation, sensory sounds, and constant physical handling from day one to raise confident, adaptable puppies. This careful foundation ensures every puppy is perfectly prepared for a bright future—whether shining in the show ring or thriving as a beloved, well-adjusted family companion.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are blue and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Sharon

Sharon has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Sharon partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $4,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

AKC registration papers are released upon receiving veterinary proof of spay/neuter. ​A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 holds this specific puppy for you until they are ready to go home. Sharon may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
