I'm Janoah M., the breeder behind Sheltie Puppies located in Minnesota. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament with a focus on intelligence, socialization and health. We are dedicated to providing beautiful, healthy puppies to families that can provide a safe and secure environment. We offer a lifetime of support for our families.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Breeding Shelties started over 40 years ago as a childhood hobby. We've been blessed to continue over 40 years, striving to better the breed.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our puppies are very well socialized and transition to their new family very well. We will maintain communication with a puppy's family, to offer support for a lifetime. We raised our dogs and puppies inside the home, and they are with us 24/7. They have a large fenced in area to run outside. Our fence is 120' x 70', within the kennel they are provided with fresh water, and a building to go in.

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Janoah

Janoah has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Janoah partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $900 - $1,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • DNA Disease Panel, Dermatomyositis, Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
