I'm Sheri H., the breeder behind Sheri Harris's Shetland Sheepdogs located in Moore Haven, FL. I breed healthy, well-rounded, happy dogs. I breed versatile dogs who are comfortable performing for show and as a companion. My puppies are home raised underfoot. They are house dogs, not kennel dogs. I do everything I can to ensure I am breeding high-quality pups for you to bring into your home.

About Secret
Secret is the sweetest Sheltie, as she greets everyone with tail wagging, wanting pets and tummy rubs. She's comfortable in most situations, from 2 day rides between Indiana and Florida (winter snowbirds), golf cart rides, concerts in the parks and dog shows. She is sable and white, 14.5" tall, 16#, DNA cleared, OFA registered eyes, hips, and elbows.

Shetland Sheepdog
About Ginger
Ginger loves being in the action. She's been a fabulous mom, keeping babies well cared for and sparkling clean. If we are chilling on the couch, she's usually next to me or stretched out by my feet.

Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
PRA, Shetland Sheepdog Type, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Animal Genetics Panel, Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy (ARVC), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Dermatomyositis, von Willebrand Disease III (vWD III)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
