I'm Tabitha G., the breeder behind Sherwood Acres Pembrokes located in Brashear, TX. We love all things corgis. Our dogs are our family pets and their puppies are very important to us. We breed for health and temperament with a focus on conformation and quality, striving to better the breed. We are dedicated to providing families with amazing and healthy puppies.

Why did you start breeding?
Always been passionate about Pembrokes. In 2010 I got my first corgi as a Mother’s Day gift. The rest is history!!What makes your program special?
We love all things Pembroke welsh corgis. We also love the purebred, old world bloodline. We keep that a top priority in our program. We strive to keep the health, quality, intelligence and temperament of our litters as priority. We only want to provide great puppies to our families!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include fawn, red, sable, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Tabitha
Tabitha has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“We sell our puppies for $1500 each with limited AKC registration. We will consider selling a breed quality puppy to a reputable breeder after a thorough interview for approximately $2800. We require $100 “wait list” deposit, once puppies are born and a selection has been made, $200 additional deposit is required. The $300 go toward the total price of the puppy.”
Contract & health guarantee
Tabitha may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Figgie or Figaro is a male Pembroke Welsh Corgi almost 2 years old. Carefully selected as a great representative of his breed, Tabitha decided to make him part of their program. Tabitha has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
