I'm Tabitha G., the breeder behind Sherwood Acres Pembrokes located in Brashear, TX. We love all things corgis. Our dogs are our family pets and their puppies are very important to us. We breed for health and temperament with a focus on conformation and quality, striving to better the breed. We are dedicated to providing families with amazing and healthy puppies.

Why did you start breeding?
Always been passionate about Pembrokes. In 2010 I got my first corgi as a Mother’s Day gift. The rest is history!!What makes your program special?
We love all things Pembroke welsh corgis. We also love the purebred, old world bloodline. We keep that a top priority in our program. We strive to keep the health, quality, intelligence and temperament of our litters as priority. We only want to provide great puppies to our families!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include fawn, red, sable, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Tabitha
Tabitha has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Tabitha partners with them to find the best puppy match.
Price
"We sell our puppies for $2000 each with limited AKC registration. We will consider selling a breed quality puppy to a reputable breeder after a thorough interview and approval for approximately $3500. We require $100 “wait list” deposit, once puppies are born and a selection has been made, $200 additional deposit is required. The $300 go toward the total price of the puppy."

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

+8Tabitha was very responsive and eager to provide updates and photos. I feel that finding her and our new puppy, Oliver (previously Sampson), was very serendipitous. My wife and I have always had corgis, and we recently lost our old man, Charlie. This left our other corgi, Hadley, my wife, and I, feeling as if our pack was missing something. Not only did we find Oliver, who has a great personality, an exceptional temperament, and is extremely smart, Tabitha had a unique understanding of Charlie’s decline, which added a personal aspect. Oliver immediately became a loved and integral part of our family. He gets along great with Hadley, and seems to have brought out a maternal instinct in her.
