I'm Sonia M., the breeder behind Shih Tzu Playhouse located in Tucson, AZ. Our dogs are our beloved companions. We care deeply about this breed and are proud to be responsible Shih Tzu breeders. We treat our dogs and puppies like family, and we give each pup all the loving care that we can to prepare them for their forever homes. Why did you start breeding?
It was on accident really. I started with 1 baby... didn't want him to be alone and got him a friend. Then I just said wouldn't it amazing to have babies ♡♡ I did alot of research and advice my aunt raises a different breed. So, she told me some things and it started from there!What makes your program special?
The love and attention these puppies get make it special ♡ my kids and I spend every waking min with the pups socializing them to the fullest treating them like our own until they go to their forever home ♡♡What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Sonia
Sonia has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $1,000 non-refundable deposit and between $900 - $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“1st round of shots, deworming, and socialization, and puppy pack. This deposit holds your puppy to ensure that he will be safe from other buyers until he is ready to go home with you.”
Contract & health guarantee
Sonia may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
