I'm Maggy P., the breeder behind Shih Tzu Shenanigans located in Wyoming, MI. My dogs are bred to be companions, part of your family. I focus on raising each puppy in a happy, healthy way. they are socialized and challenged everyday. My ShihTzu for almost 20 yrs passed four years ago, I wanted to bring the same happy, intelligent, loving puppy into the lives of others.

Why did you start breeding?
I raised a ShihTzu, at the age of 20 she passed, she was my best friend and companion. When she was young she had four litters .I want to bring the same joy into other peoples lives. And that is why I started breeding. Our main man is a beautiful gold/white/liver he is proven with four litters, two litters in May, one in July and another Feb.What makes your program special?
All my pups have great temperaments they love all people and other animals. I think that is all in part of raising them in a happy healthy environment and socializing them everyday.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue, gold and white, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

“The price includes the guarantee, AKC registration, first set of vaccinations, deworming, socialization and a gift pack. All puppies come with AKC registration and health check. They will go home with a swag bag including moms sent. They will also be well socialized and potty training started.”

Program update on 13 May •…I love getting these great reviews and little Tater is now Sammi. She is now Sammi and we love her. She’s got lots of puppy energy which my other two don’t quite know how to handle at times but when they’ve had enough, they get on the couch 😂. She’s doing really well with the potty training and she sleeps thru the night. She’s so smart. I’ll send a few pix. She now 3.4 pounds 💕

Litter update on 13 May •…These three are going to be the most difficult babies to let go. Bottle feedings and snuggles since they were four days old. Little shorty loves sleeping on his back, they are three weeks old today and doing great

Litter update on 12 May •…I guess I never realized how much momma dogs do to take care of their puppies prior to 4-6 wks of age. Before two weeks there’s a lot of encouraging them to 💩 and pee. Round the clock feedings. Lots of snuggle and keeping their pen nice and warm. Worrying wether Im feeding them to much, their little belly’s are full but they would literally eat them selves to death at this age. Now at three weeks they still just eat sleep and 💩. So if I’m not right there to catch it they scoot through it and then are covered in it. So they have had multiple baths mostly just water with a drop of dawn or puppy shampoo otherwise it will not come off with just water. I just started giving them just a little puppy mush this morning 4am and in anticipation of a big blow out Im prepared with a new puppy tub. lol. So these little guys will definitely know what a bath is for their next mom in their life.

Program update on 10 May •…These three little guys are getting cuter by the minute. Mom is still giving them their daily bath lickings while I feed them. They are getting around and literally run (scoot) for me when I come with food. This is Cooper, Shorty and Pete

Program update on 03 May •…I hope it’s not picture overload but I love to share the great feed back I get from their new families. Her sleep schedule is awesome really. I expected to be up and down more frequently since she was away from her siblings and mama. I think that heart beating plushie made all the difference. It’s a little bit bigger than she is and she snuggles right up to it! I’m sending some pics I took just a bit ago.

Program update on 03 May •…Ginger and Gordo’s puppies, she loves being a momma to bad this is her only litter she will have but happy she and her puppies are doing great. Don’t mind her hair she has to have a collar on most of the time and it matted her fur badly so at this point I just shaved her neck..she desperately needs full groom however with 2 surgeries in the past week Im not doing much. Im not sure what their colors are yet but one does look white and gold and the other two maybe a party or tri color. They are growing so fast just opening their eyes 👀

About Charlotte
Charlotte is very calm and just sits back and watches all that is going on. Until you talk to her or pet her she gets so excited she is our crazy lovable girl. She makes us laugh with her funny personality. Charlotte is listed as a parti color on registration, she is mostly white and Brindle. We feel she will be a great addition to our breeding program, and will be a good mom. Stayed tuned for puppies this summer

Ginger is gentle natured she is an attention seeker and loves belly rubs. She has a beautiful thick but flowy coat. Her registration paper say she is a parti color. She is mostly white/gold with black tips and black coloring like eye liner around her eyes. She is very pretty and good natured.

Peanut is a female Shih Tzu. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Maggy decided to make her part of their program. Maggy has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

About Charlie
Charlie is very loving, extremely easy to potty train and easy to teach basic commands. Due to the blue color she has a different look about her and her fur is soft but straight. Due to that difference from my other Shihtzu I had her genetic tested just to make sure she is of good health and 100%, the results came back as good health and 100% Shihtzu. Paperwork can be provided if needed. She has a wonderful personality and loves everyone. She’s a great mom.

Gordo is a gentle, playful and very intelligent pup. He loves getting belly rubs and a lap to lay on. He has a high curiosity for everything which sometimes gets him in trouble. He’s been a great dad, he likes to interact with the puppies. Gordo is AKC certified, and up to date on vaccines. No health issues noted.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience than the one I had with Margaret! She was so responsive from the very beginning. The weekly pictures and videos were wonderful, as being in a different state, I wasn’t able to visit Poppy in person until we met yesterday. Margaret was very kind and caring through the whole process. She is very dedicated in finding the perfect home for her puppies and you can tell she loves each and every one of them. I feel like I’ve made a friend for life! When I picked up Poppy, Margaret had a basket full of goodies to send home with us! If Margaret doesn’t any Shih Tzu’s available when you are looking, start following her, and get on her wait list! She is worth the wait! This is our first puppy and she helped us out every step of the way. Margaret has been the absolute best! She made sure to explain in detail every step of the adoption process, as well as everything about my new puppy! She is quick to respond and she truly cares and wants what’s best for the dog. She kept me updated on how my puppy, being the runt of the litter, was eating and gaining weight.
