I'm Maggy P., the breeder behind Shih Tzu Shenanigans located in Wyoming, MI. My dogs are bred to be companions, part of your family. I focus on raising each puppy in a happy, healthy way. they are socialized and challenged everyday. My ShihTzu for almost 20 yrs passed four years ago, I wanted to bring the same happy, intelligent, loving puppy into the lives of others.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I raised a ShihTzu, at the age of 20 she passed, she was my best friend and companion. When she was young she had four litters .I want to bring the same joy into other peoples lives. And that is why I started breeding. Our main man is a beautiful gold/white/liver he is proven with four litters, two litters in May, one in July and another Feb.

  • What makes your program special?

    All my pups have great temperaments they love all people and other animals. I think that is all in part of raising them in a happy healthy environment and socializing them everyday.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include blue, gold and white, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Maggy

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Maggy partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $500 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes the guarantee, AKC registration, first set of vaccinations, deworming, socialization and a gift pack. All puppies come with AKC registration and health check. They will go home with a swag bag including moms sent. They will also be well socialized and potty training started.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Maggy was absolutely perfect!! She answered all of our questions ! She gave us updates constantly anything we wanted to know she told us everything that we needed to know to start over with two new babies! Her breeding program is exceptional and her baby are the best and that is her goal! Because she decided to breed through Good Dog we were able to find our next two babies to add to our home. We seen our babies the night they were born we were going to buy one Cap’n but I kept looking at Charlie from birth, and I just kept falling in love with her, and I told Sid that I wanted to get her. These babies are so kind. She takes care of her brother and he comes to her for warmth she updated us from day one and she never stopped she met with us so we didn’t have to drive as far. The payment situation was very easy. She sent the both home with a starter kit and I’ve used every bit of it. She’s smart. She knows Shih Tzu’s.     I couldn’t have asked for a better experience than the one I had with Margaret! She was so responsive from the very beginning. The weekly pictures and videos were wonderful, as being in a different state, I wasn’t able to visit Poppy in person until we met yesterday. Margaret was very kind and caring through the whole process. She is very dedicated in finding the perfect home for her puppies and you can tell she loves each and every one of them. I feel like I’ve made a friend for life! When I picked up Poppy, Margaret had a basket full of goodies to send home with us! She is amazing and I would highly recommend that you check with her first as you search for next puppy. You won’t be disappointed!
