Meet the breeder

I'm Morgan R., the breeder behind Shih Tzu Zoo Florida located in St. Petersburg, FL. We fell in love with Shih Tzus before we ever considered breeding. At Shih Tzu Zoo, our goal is to raise healthy, beautiful companions in our home, loved as our own. Each puppy carries a piece of our hearts into a new home, where another family can discover the love that first captured ours.

Q. & A. with Morgan

  • Why did you start breeding?

Breeding wasn’t my original plan. I fell in love with Shih Tzus through my own dogs and wanted to share that love with others. I decided that if we raised litters, our focus would be healthy, beautiful companions, raised in our home and loved as our own until they joined their new families.
  • What makes your program special?

Our puppies are part of our family from day one. Raised in our home, we get to know each puppy’s personality and watch them grow with daily love and attention. We want every family to bring home a companion who has been cherished from the very beginning.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
