Meet the breeder

I'm Tracy K., the breeder behind Shih Tzus of Springboro LLC. located in Springboro, OH. We love this breed! Our mission is to raise pups that are set to become the best companions. Our dogs are our passion, and we can't imagine spending our lives without them. We are dedicated to achieving excellence and healthy family pets. We love to raise puppies and prepare them for their forever homes. Our puppies will go to good homes only. We feed our dogs and puppies the best food (vet recommended) along with healthy treats. Our moms get high quality prenatal vitamins and added protein and calcium rich foods to give our puppies the best start. We start potty training at appropriate age and log & monitor the health of our puppies daily to make sure they’re thriving and healthy.

Q. & A. with Tracy

  • Why did you start breeding?

After falling in love with the breed, I decided I wanted to start breeding and help others have a great experience finding their perfect Shih Tzu puppy. I’ve researched, studied and I have done many zoom meetings and listening to lectures to increase my knowledge on breeding and puppy care.
  • What makes your program special?

I’m a small in home breeder. Our dogs are our pets, very loved and live with us. We will not push our dogs to have lots of litters each year. I breed because I love the breed & experience! It is a full time hard job but it’s my passion. Our pets will be closely monitored by a vet and only be bred with the advice of our reproductive vet. I will provide a great experience with ongoing support after the puppy goes to their new homes.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include liver, blue, blue and white, black and white, red and white, brindle and white, white, liver and white, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

I had a great experience working with Tracy to get my puppy, Jelly Bean. It had been 17 years since I had a puppy and I was pretty rusty so I had lots of questions. She was always incredibly responsive and supportive. She was so excited to keep me informed about him until he was ready to come home and I had lots of ways to engage thru puppy cams, Facebook, and regular text and pictures. I felt like I knew her well as well as my new puppy even before meeting him. After I brought him home, I continued to have questions and she was incredibly supportive. I can’t say enough wonderful things about working with Tracy.

Tracy is the most polite and helpful breeder you can get. Her home is spot lessly clean and the dogs are taken care of like their her kids. She took time to go over every detail and had a goody bag for Sunny. I've called her about different things and she takes time to go over it and said to call with any other questions. I would give her an A++++++ rating. If you want a quality ShihTzu than Tracy's your breeder

Tracy was excellent. I didn’t know exactly what to expect, but she exceeded all my expectations. I truly was informed all the way through the process and was able to get to know my puppy, Dolly, via camera and messaging with Tracy. She is so kind and loves the puppies. All of the puppies were beautiful and her set up was amazing. They had every need met. I truly could not rate or ask for a better experience or breeder. I thank goodness my Dolly had such a wonderful breeder.
