I'm Kameshia B., the breeder behind Shihtzus4life located in Oxon Hill, MD. All of our dogs are loved as family members. We cherish our puppies from birth up until they leave our arms to snuggle into yours! We are a small, in-home breeding program where we prioritize giving each dog and puppy the best care that we can. We cherish all of our animals and enjoy sharing the love of a Shih Tzu with other individuals and families!

Why did you start breeding?
I Started breeding back in 2013 when My beautiful first Shih tzu Dior got pregnant and I raised all three of her puppies I been breeding every since then .What makes your program special?
My puppies are raised properly making sure every step of the way they get everything they need to be the best puppies ever when they reach their new home.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

“The price includes National purebred registrations first vaccination,health vaccination guaranteed for 1 year. Deposit is due once u decide what puppy u want and the remaining balance is due when u pick up your puppy .”

The experience with going through Good Dog was better than expected. Kameshia Butler was absolutely the best! She responded to me quickly when I sent a message. I was so anxious and Kameshia was so patient and kind. Pictures were sent as well as videos. When I picked up my puppy, I was pleasantly surprised to receive so many items for my puppy. For example, I received both kibble and wet puppy food, a sweater, a coat, puppy pads, etc. Of course, I was given the Vet document and her microchip registration form. Kameshia explained what I needed to do to register my pup and let me know that if I needed anything to contact her. This was just a fantastic service and I recommend Good Dog, and if you are looking for a Shih Tzu, Kameshia Butler is a great breeder.

+4From the moment I reached out to Kameshia, she was extremely professional, very responsive, and personable. She was a pleasure to work with. We corresponded through GoodBoy’s email system and Kameshia answered all my questions. Then we scheduled a Zoom call so I could see all four of the puppies because I wasn’t sure which one I wanted because the system only allowed me to select one. So I selected Buddy. After the call, I identified the two I really liked—Bronx and Pumpkin. We met up. So now, I’ve gone from wanting only one puppy to purchasing two. 😊 Kameisha was awesome throughout the entire process. She gave me a separate bag of goodies for both puppies, which contained water and food bowls, pads, nice size baby comforters, toys, and even said I could have the carrier she had brought them in because you see, my purchase was truly spur of the moment and I hadn’t gotten anything. I had two Lhasa Apso who passed in 2015 & 2016 and I was finally ready to become a fur mommy again. Kameisha made the transition from her care to my care so easy. And she followed up to make sure everything was going smoothly. I knew from the moment I met her she cared for and loved her Shih Tzus. I love both puppies. They are truly the most adorable balls of fur.

It was really nice working with Kameshia from Shihtzus4life. She was very kind and patient, and she explained so many things I didn’t know before I picked up my puppies. She made sure I understood how to care for them and answered all my questions. She also sent me home with lots of food, clothing, toys, and everything the puppies needed to start off right. You can tell she truly cares about her dogs and wants them to go to good.
