I'm Arita F., the breeder behind Shinebright Shelties located in San Antonio, TX. We raise our dogs in our home right alongside our family. We love being able to match our puppies with families that are the perfect fit for their personalities. Having healthy dogs is also super important to us so we health test each one to create long living family pets.
Q. & A. with Arita
Why did you start breeding?
I fell in love with the breed of Shelties and how they have the ability to excel at almost anything. Obedience, conformation, hearding, family living. These dogs are perfect for working or family life. I had an inner desire to raise pups and to do it the right way. I'm on a journey to become as ethical a breeder as I can be, making sure all my dogs have that sweet temperament and health testing.
What makes your program special?
There are many who will sell a dog for a quick buck but so many who don't have the health testing or the OFAs, but charge like they do. My program is special. Not only do I offer all of that, but my pups always come with lifetime support. I'm not going anywhere and I love to see updates on the pups and how beautifully they grow. If there is ever a concern I am always here to help figure it out.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black white and tan and sable and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Puppies are 7 weeks old! So close to go home day. I still have one baby available. Cute little Two-face Mascot is still in need or a happy, healthy forever home. This boy is worth the world, he is a darling!
This week we are focusing more on kennel training, and continuing our potty training. They are doing so well already 🥰
