I'm Stacy B., the breeder behind Short and Sassy Doxies located in Searcy, AR. We raise well-loved, quality puppies in our Christian home, where they are cared for as part of our family. Our dogs are carefully bred for health and temperament. Our goal is to place a healthy, well-adjusted dog in your home that will be a loving part of your family for years to come.

    We have made our dachshunds members of our family and decided to breed and sell them to help spread the love of this breed with others.

    We make sure your puppy is well adjusted to different people and situations so they will make a very happy puppy when coming to live at your home.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, cream, red, chocolate, chocolate and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Stacy

Stacy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Stacy partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $250 - $2,250 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Our price includes AKC registration, the first round of vaccinations, and early puppy socialization to help your puppy get the best start. A $250 deposit is required to hold your puppy and confirm your commitment. Deposits are non-refundable. We do understand that life happens, and we truly appreciate your honesty and communication.”

Stacy may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
