I'm Ameila M., the breeder behind Shotzie Doxie Co. located in Lady Lake, FL. We are a home breeding program that produces occasional litters from health tested parents. We are focused on producing high-quality and healthy puppies for loving homes and the occasional show placement. We have long and short hair. We show our dogs in conformation, agility, & earth dog trials.

Why did you start breeding?
We started breeding when we decided that there needed to be more health tested dachshunds available from a well planned breeding program.
What makes your program special?
We are a small program and are able to devote plenty of time and love to our dogs and puppies. We are looking to bring families a well-socialized and healthy companion.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $750 - $2,250 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
