I'm Bernadette S., the breeder behind Showcase Yorkies located in Kaplan, LA. At Showcase Yorkies, our passion is raising healthy, well-socialized Yorkshire Terriers that embody the beauty, intelligence, and loving temperament the breed is known for. We are a small, dedicated breeding program committed to preserving and improving the Yorkshire Terrier through thoughtful, responsible breeding practices. Every dog in our program is carefully selected based on health, temperament, structure, and pedigree. We perform comprehensive health testing on our breeding dogs because we believe producing healthy puppies begins long before a litter is planned. Our goal is to provide each puppy with the very best start in life. Our puppies are raised in our home, where they receive daily love, attention, and early socialization. From birth, they are handled with care and introduced to everyday sights, sounds, and experiences that help build confidence and prepare them for a smooth transition into their forever homes. We believe that finding the right puppy is about more than appearance—it’s about creating the perfect match between puppy and family. We take the time to get to know each of our families and remain available as a lifelong resource for guidance and support. Why did you start breeding?
This love of breeding happened years ago when I attended my first dog show. From that moment on I purchased a gorgeous boxer puppy and hit the show circuit as soon as I could. I soon realized how long and hard it would be gone from my family. This is where breeding began! Boxers will always be my first love, but with aging we decided to focus on a smaller breed! Smaller only by weight and height alone!What makes your program special?
I think what makes us special is we truly treat them as our children! From what they eat to clean clothes when you leave! We take them on all life’s adventures and they love it from our comfortable RV!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include gold, liver, chocolate, tan and white, parti, and black and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Bernadette
Bernadette has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Bernadette partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Puppies are AKC registered, up to date with vaccines and their own goodie bag! All of our babies come pre spoiled and just about completely pad trained! All of our puppies are different prices and my only be available to pet homes.”
