Meet the breeder

I'm Alyanna G., the breeder behind Showtime Schnauzers located in San Diego, CA. Showtime Schnauzers is a small, family-run Miniature Schnauzer breeding program. Our dogs are cherished family members that grow up in our homes. We prioritize health, temperament, and attentive care. We aim to raise affectionate, confident companions and help each puppy find a loving home.

Q. & A. with Alyanna

  • Why did you start breeding?

After sharing our home with five Miniature Schnauzers over the past decade, we knew this was the breed we wanted to work with. We love their big-dog confidence, sharp minds, and low-shedding coats, all in a small dog who’s easy to travel with. We started breeding to help preserve what we love about them and share a little beard of joy with other families.
  • What makes your program special?

We study pedigrees and carefully match AKC-registered parents for health, temperament, and conformation. We raise our puppies in our home, sanitize their space regularly, weigh each pup daily to track growth, and supplement feedings when needed. We leave their tails natural and look for loving homes where they can grow into happy, confident companions.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include salt and pepper and black and silver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
