I'm Jennifer P., the breeder behind Silver Creek Ridge located in Lula, GA. Our border collies are able to be AKC and ABCA registered. We want to provide top-quality beloved companions. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!

    Our puppies include smooth and rough coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include lilac merle, blue merle, red merle, red, and white and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $1,700 - $2,425 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"The price includes application for AKC limited registration, first round of puppy vaccinations and deworming. Puppies may also be limited ABCA registered for an additional fee. "

  • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Mavi (Jade, Green Collar - Female) Working with Jennifer through the GoodDog app was truly a great experience from start to finish. She provided so much guidance that it allowed me to properly prepare for the long flight bringing Mavi home from Lula, Georgia to Southern California, which made the entire travel experience smooth and stress free. Even after Mavi came home, Jennifer continued to be a resource. She shared helpful information about the breed, temperament, and training, which made a huge difference during those early transition weeks. That level of follow through speaks volumes. Bringing Mavi home was honestly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. She is incredibly smart and absolutely gorgeous. Everywhere we go she gets compliments… at work, on the trail, and out in public. Mavi is friendly, loving, and gets along with every animal she meets. She’s playful, fast, obedient, incredibly intelligent, and very protective when it matters. She has a beautiful temperament and a strong presence. I’ve replaced more yoga balls than I can count, but that’s a small price to pay for the best soul to ever walk into our lives. My sons absolutely adore her, and I love her with everything in me. I’m incredibly grateful to Jennifer for the care she puts into what she does. I would not hesitate to recommend her (Silver Creek Ridge) to anyone looking for a Border Collie with both an amazing temperament and heart.

    Jennifer was great to work with! Throughout the process of waiting for Kenny to be ready to bring home she kept me updated with photos and the latest information. Very easy to work with. When going to pick him up it was very apparent her love of her dogs and the breed. He was very easy to house train and super smart! We love him very much and would go back to Jennifer if we wanted to add another member to our pack :-).

    Jennifer was incredible to work with! She gave me really knowledgeable and valuable advice on the dog breed in general as well as informed me on my Stella Mae’s individual personality. You could tell her whole family cared for a nurtured the pups prior to coming home to their forever homes. Our Stella Mae is the smartest dog I’ve ever known and I have no doubt that has a lot to do with Jennifer’s excellent care as well as breeding strategies. You can tell she cares so much for the pups as before during and after birth and adoption. It was a wonderful experience and we are grateful to her for our Stella Mae.

    During my son's last birthday, we were working so hard to come up with an idea of a gift he would love. We asked him about all kinds of things, and there was no spark. Then we reluctantly yet somewhat excitingly asked, "What about a puppy?" His eyes lit up. My son is a very active 15 year old who loves sports and just wanted a companion to play with and love on. We already have a whippet, but she's 10 and her interest had faded. My son became focused to look at breeds and breeders. We found Silver Creek and Jennifer. We honestly couldn't be happier...not only with the process, but with the people. By chance, we happened to be in the area of their farm and they were more than happy to allow us to visit our chosen puppy and the rest of the litter and parents ahead of time. We were sold. Of course, puppies are puppies. The early days are rough. They know so little and what you assume they know, they likely don't know. That said, this sweet girl as become an amazing part of our family. Even our local trainer who focuses on training border collier puppies said she was a bright one. If this app allows me, I will download a few videos of where she is now at 7 months. She's got so much more potential ahead. My son loves her and has stepped up to the plate in taking care of her. This is not only great for this puppy and our family, but has really given my son a lesson in what it takes to raise a baby in a sense as well as the reward that goes with it.

    Jennifer and loving family we so easy to work with. Originally the dog we wanted was spoken for but when she became available Jennifer immediately let men know. She was so very helpful when it came time to pick up Lula. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The kids already want another a brother for Lula.
