Meet the breeder

I'm Kayla M., the breeder behind Silver Lining Poodles located in Camdenton, MO. Silver Lining Poodles is a small, in home program in Missouri. We raise standard poodles with a focus on health, temperament, and socialization. Our puppies are raised around children, making them confident, loving companions ready to thrive in family life.

Q. & A. with Kayla

  • Why did you start breeding?

My journey into breeding began with my own silver standard poodle, Pepper. She quickly became my companion and has an amazing temperament I wanted to pass on. After lots of research and preparation, I took the leap into breeding in 2025 to share the joy she brings to our home with others.
  • What makes your program special?

What makes Silver Lining Poodles special is our commitment to raising puppies in a family-focused environment. Our puppies are raised around children and handled daily to build confidence and trust. We focus on pairing for health, structure, and personality and each puppy is matched with families who will continue to provide the care and love they deserve.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, silver, silver-beige, parti, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Kayla was very responsive to work and I was satisfied with health testing and her obvious knowledge as a handler. The proof of her hard work is in the puppy - I brought home a secure, atuned dog who clearly already has a great foundation for success as an adult.

Kayla is a wonderful breeder to work with! She was very responsive and helpful when I was unable to pick up my puppy ASAP. You can tell that her and her family love their puppies! I’m so happy to have found her and my parti poodle Juniper!

Well Kayla was willing to work with me. She is keeping my puppy until Oct 6. I live in Oregon so I had a long way to drive to fetch him. I will be with my daughter for 2 months. I am so looking forward to have him on our lives.
