Meet the breeder

I'm Heather S., the breeder behind Silver Linings Australian Shepherds located in Hopewell Junction, NY. We have proudly produced a number of Top 10 breed ranked sport dogs with sound temperaments.

Q. & A. with Heather

  • Why did you start breeding?

We fell in love with the Australian Shepherd breed and became heavily involved in training, competing, and grooming. In addition, we enjoy living active lives with our best companions. We are passionate about preserving the true nature of the breed and producing quality, titled, and health tested dogs to share with others.
  • What makes your program special?

We are so very different than most. Each puppy/dog from us is carefully matched based on a variety of factors such as lifestyle and suitability through an enjoyable process. Each home that receives a puppy/dog from us becomes a lifelong friend and relationship. We're here for our homes and puppies/dogs day and night. We enjoy mentoring newcomers to our breed and similarly spending time with experienced breed owners.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
