Meet the breeder

I'm Crisska N., the breeder behind Silver Moon Cardigan Corgis located in Kempner, TX. Our dogs are bred for health, structure, & temperament above all else. We also breed to ensure puppy owners are getting puppy that can be a loving member of your family. We are a very small hobby breeder with plans for a maximum of six dogs. Our litters will be usually two to three per year.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    How I got into breeding is because of my passion for animals. It was always an aspect of my daily life. I have never been without at least one pet in my household even as a teen. Now that I'm an adult not much has changed in that regard. I want to produce something of quality over quantity at Silver moon and that is a huge reason why our program is so small! I hope you enjoy our pups!

  • What makes your program special?

    My breeding program is special because unlike most breeders is that I prefer to keep my program small to be able to give my attention to our pups and adults properly. I also welcome other registries like UKC. Of course, any dog we get for the program is DNA tested and health tested with OFA/ Penn hip too. We strive for health, structure, & temperament as it’s important for longevity!

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include gray and white, sable merle and white, red merle and white, sable and white, blue merle and white, brindle merle and white, red and white, liver and white, brindle and white, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Crisska

Crisska has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Crisska partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We ask that our buyers fill out our questionnaire and any other questions we may have and review our contracts and pricing prior to selecting an available puppy! If we are satisfied in the responses given that you may be a good fit for one of our pups we will move forward in helping you select a baby! ”

Price

Puppy prices include a $100 non-refundable deposit and between $1,900 - $5,900 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price is dependent on the pairing itself. We price based on the qualifications of the breeding pair, genetic health, and the lineage on our corgis. The usual range is $2500-3500. Deposits are $500 per puppy due 1 week after birth or after testing results to reserve your puppy. The $100.00 for the waitlist deposit is applied to the pup deposit. All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE but can be transferred.”

Crisska may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
