I adore my puppy. She is previous and healthy. Working with the breeder was a great experience and I enjoyed it. The only issue is my puppy is now 8 mths old and weighs 9 lbs. I was told, based on her parents weight that she would weigh between 5 to 8 lbs. I decided to have a DNA test done on my puppy. It came back yesterday. The puppy is 85% Maltese and 15% Havanese. Obviously, I'm disappointed. I was purchasing a Msltese. Havenese can get as large as 12 to 15 lbs. I love my puppy. I would not have purchased anything other than a Maltese. I would recommend getting a DNA test. Also, i did try contacting the breeder.
