Meet the breeder

I'm Krista L., the breeder behind Silverback Labradors located in Cowiche, WA. We love this breed and do everything we can to help it thrive. We give each of our dogs and puppies the best care that we can. It’s been such a pleasure to be able to watch every stage of puppy life! We’re so lucky to be able to do this and match wonderful families with our perfect puppies. It has been such a fulfilling journey. We look forward to connecting with you!

Q. & A. with Krista

  • What makes your program special?

I thrive to make sure the puppies that I am raising are going to be the best of the breed. I have health testing on both the mother and father. Starting at 2 days old I will be working with each puppie on Early Neurological Stimulation(ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI). I will also start working with them on Sound Stimulation, leash and kennel introduction, and beginning potty training
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Krista was our first experience with a breeder. She let us meet our puppy before we took her home which we greatly appreciated. We met the mother and played with Olive while getting our questions answered and felt confident these puppies would be getting the best care and training. When we picked her up she snuggled in and was very comfortable with us.❤️

Very good people, they know the breed, great advice, helpful, accommodating and loved my pup until the moment her and I departed, I could not ask for a more positive experience.

Krista and her husband were amazing. I really liked the amount of knowledge Krista had to share about Labradors. I really admired how she grew up with her family breeding Labradors and she wanted to follow in the path. You can 100% tell Krista and her husband love what they do and take very good care of their dogs and the litter they have. I will be adopting from them for as long as I can! Thank you again Krista
