I'm Catrina A., the breeder behind Silverland Aussies located in Medicine Park, OK. Our dogs are our beloved companions. We care deeply about this breed and are proud to be responsible Australian Shepherd breeders. We treasure each puppy in our program and give them all the attention and care that we possibly can. We work hard so our puppies can leave our home with confidence, ready to take on the world with their new family!

Why did you start breeding?
After purchasing my first Australian Shepherd in 2016, breeding was something I was interested in learning about. I spent many years with researching & testing with amazing mentors and had my first litter in 2020. I did not jump right in or knee jerk any decisions. I enjoy adhering to breed standards and setting strict goals towards enhancing the breed.What makes your program special?
I do not kennel raise my dogs. They are an immediate extension of my everyday routine, being a part of it all. I am very dedicated to focusing on ONE litter and providing each puppy with a focused upbringing and a happy & healthy mind and body.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

“Deposits are Non-refundable. In the event that the puppy cannot be transferred to the new owner due to the fault of the breeder, deposits will be refundable.”

About Fable
Red Merle Female Fable is my dream come true AUSSIE. She is extraordinarily sweet & affectionate. She’s got a medium drive. She loves the water and loves to hike. She’s absolutely amazing in front of the Camera. Very intelligent and eager to please. She does not get in trouble. She’s by far my best behaved AUSSIE and her manners are the utmost considerate. She LOVES toys. All toys are her very favorite. She’s also extremely silly & goofy. She keeps me laughing constantly. Fable is a homegrown AUSSIE. She is my very best girl and honestly, everything I had been looking for in a companion. With that said, it was unlikely I’d breed her. I honestly did not want to take the risk. With all that said, Fable had a silent heat and fooled her Momma but not the Boys. So here we are 63 days later with Five Beautiful Puppies. 4 Boys & 1 Girl! She’s extremely committed to her puppies. She doesn’t leave them. For the first few days, her overprotective nature convinced me to keep tails. I was not willing to risk her emotional well being for adhering to breed standard. More and more breeders are deciding to keep tails and I personally hate it being done but all my previous litters have had their tails docked. I’ve kept tails on puppies before by request and they have turned out beautiful! Please reach out if you have any questions!

Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), Generalized, Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis 8 (NCL8), Australian Shepherd Type, Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis 6 (NCL 6), Multifocal Retinopathy 1 (CMR1), Intestinal Cobalamin Malabsorption (IGS), Australian Shepherd Type, Hyperuricosuria (HUU), Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC), Australian Shepherd Type, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Cone Degeneration, Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
