I'm Lynnette S., the breeder behind Simpson Family retrievers and Rattes located in Jamesville, NC. We breed both to provide families with loving dogs' fantastic traits with each generation. Our rat terriers and family raised held and loved daily. All their shotss and wormers are kept up to date . The parents have been OFA tested genetics are clear and are UKCI registered.

Why did you start breeding?
We started breeding 18 years ago when my daughter insisted on getting a puppy from a family member who had a little runt that she fell in love with
What makes your program special?
We are extremely hands on with our pups, they have their own puppy barn that is set up wi toys that engage them and challenge them to explore their environment.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black white and tan and white black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
