Why did you start breeding?
We fell in love with Goldens when we got Leila. We eventually mated her and kept one of her puppies - Willow. As we found forever families for our other puppies, we heard horror stories about puppy mills and bad breeders. It is hard to find responsible breeders for goldens. We love seeing families blessed to take home a new family member.What makes your program special?
We are very intentional with interactions - lots of human touch and play. Plus, they are raised in our home becoming accustomed to all the sounds of family life. We also work hard to create patterns that will make for successful potty training, bite-inhibition, etc.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Willow is known lovingly in our home as "Willow Pillow," because she is very affectionate and loves to snuggle. She is an amazing mom, very alert and caring. Her love language is touch, i.e. being pet... once you start, she won't let you stop.

About Leila
Leila is our "momma dog." She is a beautiful soul, very gentle, independent, and confident. She loves to play ball, run outside, splash in lakes, and play tug-o-war. She is an amazing mother. Her love language is presence (she's got to be near you) and licking (watch out for wet kisses, lol).

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Ichthyosis, Golden Retriever Type
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
