I'm Cheyenne F., the breeder behind Six Shooter Minis located in Benson, AZ. Our priority while breeding is to produce healthy puppies that will have the best temperaments and make the most amazing companions. Our breeding program is small, allowing us to focus on each individual puppy and make sure every family gets the perfect fit.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We fell in love with our first miniature dachshund and couldn’t get enough of her. When we decided to add another one to our family, we worked closely with knowledgeable breeders to select the best stud to start our program. They helped us learn so much about bettering the breed and we continue to expand our knowledge as we continue breeding.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our breeding program is small, allowing us to focus on each individual puppy and make sure every family gets the perfect fit. Each puppy gets hands on care and socialization every day. When our puppies go to their new homes, they will have been familiar with other animals and people.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, red, black and cream, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Cheyenne

Cheyenne has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Cheyenne partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We want every puppy to go to the right home. We want to make sure their personalities match with the home they go to. Because of this, we do not accept deposits until we start to watch their personalities develop, typically around 4 weeks.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes deworming, vaccinations, microchip, and limited AKC registration. As our puppies sell quickly, we do require a deposit to ensure you’re serious about choosing one of our puppies. Deposits are non-refundable.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
