I'm Sara S., the breeder behind S&K Shih Tzu’s located in Spring, TX. We’re devoted to ensuring there are healthy puppies for others to enjoy and we do so by responsibly growing this incredible breed. We have developed several protocols to ensure the health and well-being of all of our dogs. It’s our top priority to make sure each of our puppy families welcomes a happy and healthy new family member into their homes!

Why did you start breeding?
I fell in love with shih tzu’s as a little girl but my family loved dachshund’s so I got to raise dachshund’s and got interested in breeding them. I learned a lot at a young age from breeding dachshunds and as soon as I was a adult I got my first shih tzu Draco when Draco turned two we bred him for the first time and I got back into breeding but this time in the breed I fell in love with.What makes your program special?
I like to think our program not being as big as others I get to communicate more on a one on one basis with the families our puppies go to. The interactions are more genuine and comfortable for someone choosing to purchase one of our babies.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Sara
Sara has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $100 non-refundable deposit and between $900 - $2,400 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Puppies will be deworming and vaccinated and a full vet check before going home. Puppies will either be akc or akc and ckc registered with full rights. A deposit is required to hold to insure our babies have a family when they’re ready to go home.”
Contract & health guarantee
Sara may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
