I'm Julianne W., the breeder behind Skyecove Australian Shepherds located in Greenville, NC. I have had Aussies for 47 years. My goals are health, structure, temperament, longevity. My pups are raised in my house with ENS and Puppy Culture. They are part of the family and are treated as such. There is nothing I love more than loving on these dogs and breeding to the breed standards.
Q. & A. with Julianne
Why did you start breeding?
My third Aussie in the 90's died from an inherited disease at 8. I researched many breeders before buying a male, then 3 females from them so that I could keep the lines clean from heath issues. 20 years and no issues in any of my known dogs. I love to show and believe this gives you the foundation needed. I can spend years researching the correct stud for my girls.
What makes your program special?
Extremely high-quality dogs, people returning for their 2nd and 3rd puppy. I am there 24/7/365 to assist with anything. Extremely knowledgable about the breed. In the breed for 48 years, care about matching the correct puppy with the right family. Always willing to help in any way--
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
