I'm Susan C., the breeder behind SkyHigh Kennels located in Central Square, NY. We offer health tested breeding stock. Our goal is healthy Miniature Schnauzers, with phenomenal temperaments and personalities. Raising puppies has been so much fun, although we take our role in raising them seriously. Breeding has helped us share the joy of our dogs with other families and individuals.

Why did you start breeding?
15 years ago my husband bought me a miniature schnauzer at a pet store the dog had many health problems but helped thru a very rough time and i realized how important a dog could be, but i was determined to find away to breed a dog with as few as health problems as possible. I researched the MS breed and found preservation breeders whose mission was breeding healthy good personality dogsWhere do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Susan

"Dogs are health checked. DNA checked for disease on all males and females and breeding females and males see eye and heart specialist for years check. Puppies have alot of training done I start at birth. Deposit is applied to different puppy if the need arise."

Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
