I'm Marie M., the breeder behind SLASH SEVEN Toy Aussies located in Bonanza, OR. We want to do our part to produce wonderful, even tempered and healthy dogs to share in the joy these dogs' companionship brings us. We strive to find each of our puppies forever, loving homes, where they can live happy lives and spread the same light and joy we have enjoyed from this wonderful breed.

Why did you start breeding?
I owned large dogs and rescues my whole life before owning my first Toy Aussie and the logistics of owning large dogs are very different. It was such a joy to be able to bring my loyal little dogs with me everywhere I went and to see people light up and get so much joy out of of being around these sweet dogs is what inspired me to first breed our female to an equally well tempered male.What makes your program special?
We are still at the start of our journey, but the very intentional decision to only breed well balanced, and even tempered dogs, regardless of their coat color is what remains our top priority in improving this wonderful breed. Additionally we also have an occasional, selective litter of excellent working Catahoula-Border Collie mixes, both parents being actively used in cattle and ranch work.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black tri, blue merle, red merle, and red tri. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

"Price includes registration, socialization, dew-claw removal and tail docking (unless requested otherwise prior to procedure), first shots and wormer, as well as a vet health check. The non refundable deposit reserves your puppy until we coordinate pickup."

About "Muffy"
Muffy is a wonderful, loyal companion who often "selects' her favorite people in a group setting and is affectionate towards familiar people without ever forgetting who "her person" is. She is intelligent and towards strangers she is aloof at first and also alerts to strangers entering her home, however without being excessive about it or too "yappy". She has a wonderful sensitive, affectionate nature and will often want to lay close to (or on) people who are feeling sad (as well as any children who are crying or in a bad mood). It is as if she is trying to comfort them, which is one of the many qualities we love about her.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

I had been considering a dog for a few years and was casually looking when I found Marie’s page and inquired about Roman. Once Marie sent a few videos, all bets were off, I was in love! Marie was responsive and so easy to talk to throughout the whole process. She even brought Roman’s mom to the airport with her provided a toy that would smell like home, and a bag of food to make the transition seamless. Roman has the most beautiful eyes/coat. Everywhere we go, people stop to ask about him. He’s good with other dogs and friendly to everyone he comes in contact with. I’m so happy that Marie and I connected and that she brought Roman into my life, he brings me so much joy! 🥰

+7Marie was great to work with. When we started to look online, I was afraid to commit to a dog I couldn’t meet in person before committing. But when I read SLASH SEVEN’s profile and Marie’s focus on temperament I was willing to try. Marie was kind enough to send photos and even video of the girl we were interested in, which gave me a chance to see how the puppy carried herself. Marie answered so many questions patiently and promptly. She made the whole experience a smooth experience when it could have been very stressful. More than anything, we wanted a sweet tempered dog. Marie’s puppy did not disappoint. We have had our adorable Amber for a month now. She is just what we had hoped for. She is sweet, smart, healthy, and was clearly well socialized by Marie and her family. She is already going to the door sometimes when she needs to go out for business. She understands sit and lay down and loves to retrieve toys and bring them back to us. We are so glad we found SLASH SEVEN and highly recommend her as a breeder.
