I'm Brian & Samantha M., the breeder behind Slinky’s Dachshunds located in Port Saint Lucie, FL. Having a dog in our lives is such a blessing. We find so much fulfillment in providing that same companionship to other homes! We breed to preserve the unique characteristics of this breed while considering a variety of traits, including health, conformation, and temperament. We emphasize the proper socialization and training of our puppies, and we strive to promote responsible dog ownership.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Our love of the Dachshund breed led us to start breeding these wonderful dogs. We take great pride in providing our dogs with a loving home and quality care. We enjoy raising puppies and watching them grow into happy, healthy dogs.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our breeding program is special because we focus on breeding healthy, well-tempered dogs that meet the breed standard. We carefully select our breeding stock, and we maintain a clean, healthy environment for our dogs. Our puppies come from parents who have been health tested and are free of genetic diseases. We take pride in our breeding program, and we are committed to producing healthy, well-adjusted dogs that meet the breed standard.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, red, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Brian & Samantha

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,600 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
