Why did you start breeding?
We got into breeding after we had Maui, our first dachshund completely stole our hearts. We wanted to make sure other families could experience the same joy, but in a responsible way.What makes your program special?

+8This was my first time even knowing about Good Dog, the process was completely new to me and Reena made everything so stress free. We had our pup pass away about 3-4 years ago at a very young and unexpected way from a very aggressive cancer. His passing left us feeling very very sad so to my surprise this past year my husband told me he felt ready to bring home a new pup, that’s when we found out about Good Dog, my husband wanted a Doxie and that’s when we ran into reena and Caleb’s page. I can definitely say that every single one of their pups are loved and WELL TAKEN CARE OF AND HEALTHY. We ended up choosing a dapple lil guy from Maui’s litter and WOW our guy is so smart and loving, NOT TO MENTION the fact that he came trained to go potty on the pad already which was SO CONVENIENT I can’t even begin to describe. Reena, Caleb, my husband, and I had a virtual meeting where we all met and they def make sure all of their pups are going to loving homes, which to me was a huge green flag (there’s nothing worse than getting your pup at a sketchy place where you don’t know if they’re sick or been mistreated etc). They also let us come by prior to picking our little bluey up just to meet them in person and we got to meet the whole gang. All in all 10/10 for sure! Our guy came with health certificate and is doing amazing his vet is absolutely in love, and we’re over the moon. Our little Bluey has filled our lives with happiness, thank you Reena and Caleb! The work that they do is so important because even though adopting is very noble and important, for families like ours with small children, adoption is not an option.

+4Reena and Caleb were absolutely awesome. We were able to meet our baby boy when he was just a few weeks old. After that Reena would send weekly pictures of him and videos. We got to see him develop and grow before he was old enough to take home . They kept a neat and clean environment, we received all our paperwork, along with a blanket and toy that smelled like the litter and they still check in on us to see how he is doing. They were amazing every step of the way! Highly recommend.
