I'm Josephine C., the breeder behind Small Breed Kennel located in Douglasville, GA. When we got our first dog, we were instantly in love. Since then, we’ve made it our mission to bring happy, healthy puppies into the lives of other families! We take pride in breeding and producing top of the line puppies.

Why did you start breeding?
Melvin and Josephine started there journey into breeding and raising small dogs. They found a loved into the Shihtzus breed so much, and felt that the breed would be a good match for any family in any home situation. with getting along with practically anyoneWhat makes your program special?
We don't just breed to be breeding, first of all, we love our dogs so it makes it easier for us to provide the best care for them. We love what we do, so we've studied that the health of the dog is one of the most important of having a dog, so much so that we further our education learning to train them and certify ourselves with the knowledge of how to make the breed better.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, liver, blue, gold, red and white, gold and white, liver and white, and blue and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
