Meet the breeder

I'm Kayla H., the breeder behind Smokey Mountain Sheepadoodles located in Greeneville, TN. Our world revolves around our dogs. We love them all with a passion and are so proud of them! Every dog in our program has a purpose, clear health testing, and phenomenal temperaments!

Q. & A. with Kayla

  • Why did you start breeding?

Poodles were my very first favorite dog breed! We bought our first Old English Sheepdog in 2017. She quickly made OES my second favorite breed. I met my first sheepadoodle at a pet store and as instantly hooked! After doing tons of research and speaking to many sheepadoodle owners and breeders, we decided we wanted to share our love of sheepadoodles with the world by producing quality doodle pups!
  • What makes your program special?

We work with our puppies every day on top of keeping them, and their living environment, clean and fun! We practice ENS and ESI between days 3-16 and continue daily handling exercises throughout their time with us. Our puppies are raised in a family environment with lots of healthy socialization and mental enrichment. We follow a mixture of Puppy Culture and BAB Empowered Breeder curriculum.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Poodle puppies include miniature, moyen, and standard sizes. Sheepadoodle puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Poodle puppies include sable, apricot, black, brown, cream, parti, and phantom. Sheepadoodle puppies include merle, white, blue merle, blue gray and white, black and white, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
